Ingredients for making a cake

For the basics:

  1. Butter 200 g
  2. Premium wheat flour 250 g
  3. Chicken eggs 5 pcs.
  4. Water 250 ml.
  5. Salt 1 tsp.

For cream:

  1. Sour cream (thick with high fat content) 500 g.
  2. Sugar 100 g.

Cooking Cake:

Step 1: Cook the dough.

We take a small pot and put on the stove (medium heat), pour water. After waiting a little while the water is slightly warmed, add butter to the saucepan. Using a wooden spatula, gently stir the mass. When the mixture boils, then it's time to pour flour into it (the latter should be sifted through a sieve). Continuously stir the masspreventing the formation of lumps. When the mass becomes homogeneous - can be removed from the stove. Now you need to cool this mixture to a temperature at which you can add raw eggs. If you put them in a hot (almost boiling solution), then, as you know, eggs can be boiled, which is very undesirable. So, the temperature is normal (below 80 degrees) - we break the eggs one by one, stirring with a spatula after each. We take a mixer and beat the mixture, which as a result should turn into a fairly malleable dough.

Step 2: Bake the "fingers".

First, turn on the oven by setting the temperature to 180 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with butter. While the furnace is heating, we will engage in the formation of "fingers" from the dough. This is done by hand, but this option is also possible: a dough is placed in a durable plastic bag or in a pastry bag, and a small cut is made at the bottom of the bag or bag (about 5 mm in diameter), after which we squeeze out the dough through this incision on the baking sheet. As a result, you should get "fingers" about 5 cm long and 1 cm wide (in a word, the size of a finger). The distance between the pieces of dough on the baking sheet should be slightly larger than their width. The stove is heated - it's time to bake. Place the pan in the oven and bake about 10 minutes. Periodically monitor the process.

Step 3: Prepare the cream and form the cake.

Let's do the cream. Sour cream in a bowl, pour sugar and beat thoroughly with a mixer until smooth. When the “fingers” are ready, you need to remove the pan from the oven and allow the baking to cool slightly. After that, each “finger” is immersed in a cream and laid out on a dish so that as a result the shape of the cake you need is lined up.

Step 4: Serve Ladies Fingers Cake.

So, the cake is almost ready. It's time to decorate it with grated chocolate or cocoa. Now this culinary miracle needs to be cooled and left to stand for impregnation, first at room temperature, and then in the refrigerator. Minimum impregnation time 2 hours. Then you can serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
